RIP, live.com maps

Regrettably, the recent launch of live.com appears to have nuked the local.live.com mapping service, replaced with some cheap-ass Web 1.0 local search service. Big shame, as detest Microsoft as I do, it was still the best new-age mapping service going.

If anyone can find its new home I'd be much obliged. And if anyone knows of a new-age mapping service that has high-res images of North Yorkshire, that'd be helpful too. Finding grassland to go enjoy is so difficult in this day and age.
