MSN Drops Referer Data
After doing my usual round of log checks, I've noticed something funny in my logfiles. I seemed to have dropped a major number of keywords in MSN. After digging around a bit more, it appears there's a bug at play with the new MSN Search. Due to some new javascript code (onclick) launched over at MSN, clickthroughs are no longer passing the Referer HTTP Header. I verified this on one of my sites with both IE (6.0) and Firefox (1.5).
Looks like this was noticed over at WMW also..

Isn't that the MS motto by now?
