Man May Have Sent 2 Billion Spam E-Mails

SYDNEY, Australia (AP) - An Australian man under investigation for illegal spamming sent more than 2 billion e-mails promoting Viagra in a year, an official said Wednesday.

If the numbers are right it would have cost him £2,358,489 GBP per year to rent the servers.

Charge them with treason

for sabotaging the defense network by clogging down connections. Or why not declare them terrorists who "hate our free inboxes"?

You are right, that old A level maths came back to haunt you.

Take a server 83 days to fire off a billion at "only" half a million an hour :-)

I also notice that the man was Australian advertising Viagra , which my small mind somehow found amusing.
