Google Adsense to be plastered in your desktop software

C|Net reporting a firm called 'spiceworks' , a free network monitoring desktop app, that is supported by Adsense.
At this rate, the next thing we know Firefox will have Adsense in the toolbar, opensource will be 'Adsense Source' and Google Pack will be 'Googlesense Pack, complete with Adsense right next to your Start Button'

I didn't see this in the CNet article, but google hasn't liked this practice in the past. I'm not sure if this use is OK for some reason, but I imagine we'll see a C|Net article saying "spiceworks moves to other ad content instead of adsense" in a few days.
