Google listen to Web Master Radio
on Monday the 24th April, I co hosted the Strikpoint radio show with DaveN as Mikkel was on his way to SES Toronto.
One of the issues we discussed on the show was the Google SERPs for [url=http://www.google.com/search/?q=online casino]Online Casino[/url] and Viagra
We showed a flaw in the Google algorithm that meant that unusual sites (The BBC and GayHomes) were ranking through no efforts of the owners. Matt said he may wel listen to Strikpoint and it seems that Matt and his team at Google did listen to the show and dished out some hand jobs.
It's good to know that the Google spam team listen and act upon advice from the Web Master Radio team but when will the Adwords team start listening and acting too?

I am afraid I don't have any pre radio show screen shots but it has been seen and can be confirmed by many many people. During the show the results were there. They aren't now!

Be careful what you wish for
We've discussed some things (like Forbes.com) that ended up removed as well. Now I get emails from people wanting me to talk about the spam they hate on the show.
In a lot of ways, it is good that search engine engineers listen to our shows, but it also makes it difficult to have frank discussions containing real world examples about current seo strategies.
