Bubble on the rise or about to burst?

I found a interesting blurb on slashdot today called "Domain Names Worth Their Weight in Gold Again"

So far in 2006 domain name on.com fetched $635,000, Macau.com was sold for $550,000, blue.com was sold for half a million, and Jasmin.com was bought for $310,000.

Personally I do not think any of these prices are crazy... in fact I think blue.com was a pretty good deal for 500k. The one thing that surprises me is the use of landing pages for these kick ass domains. Oh ya and what the hell is macau anyway =P

THe domain market will always be on the rise.

As for 1,5 half mil .eu domains purchased in a few days, i guess more than 20% are now parked, waiting to be sold with more than 1000$ at public auctions.

...or sold back to the companies who want them but were too slow on the action. Seems 3-5k is the going price.
