Like MS ever releases anything on schedule?
Why should they?
Any competition for Office?
Any competition for Windows?

My combo:
dual xeon workstation, battery backed caching scsi raid subsystem on raid 10. umm, 550 MHZ, it flies.
NT4 Server Enterprise, Visual Studio 6.0, MS Office 95.
Yup, don't fix what ain't broke :)
I feel *no* need to put anything new on it.
