NY Student Group Stages Email Campaign to Protest Google Censorship in China

From the Observer: Students For A Free Tibet, a New York-based organization, claims it has sent more than 50,000 emails to Google "bosses" protesting the decision to censor search results per the oppressive Chinese government.

In addition to their "Break up with Google" email campaign, they also designed an alternate (and hideous) "evil" Google logo, and provide a list of alternate (and crappy) search engines to use.

They basically accuse Google of being a "partner" to the Chinest Gov...like Google wandered in and said "great idea, we're in!"

Though I respect the motives of the protesters, I think, like many protests, they weaken their argument with these extreme, almost ridiculous, accusations.
