Who Spiked My Search History?

With all the hoopla associated with the DOJ wanting search data many people are posting about how to search anonymously. No matter what they do most users will still end up getting tracked somehow.

I believe the market is demanding a search history obfuscator. A free (linkbait) or paid (big $$$) tool that automates adding random searches to your search history at random intervals.

For the free version maybe you can even get some people to want to share their search data with you. Free user data! :)

Thoughts?

Anonymous Search

The good old anonymouse search has penalties as well since some of us block access from those anonymouse proxy servers we're aware of to stop anonymous scraping.

However, if someone was smart and enterprising (I'm smart but lazy) it sounds like a perfect time for an entrepreneur to create IE/Firefox hybrid search plug-in that routes all search requests to Google/Yahoo/MSN thru an anonymous proxy server automatically and then switch back to direct access once they click on a link leading them away from those search engines.

You know the big 3 SEs would block that though as the end user will never win.

This calls for Matt's blog to be PR0'd (or whatever it is they do to bad boys who advocate automated queries these days) don't you think?
