Time for a new car
These guys have already done pretty well out of other deals, best wishes for their venture with Google. Hopefully they will get their billion dollar payout.
All I want to know is what kind of car do you buy after your first $100m sale?
I'm always telling
I'm always telling companies/people to stay with their core business and not to diversify if it is not about vertical or horizontal integration to defend/strengthen their position.
This seems like a pretty long bow to me and possibly the the first sign to the end (end of the rose path) of what is now becoming an arrogant petulant teenage business.
I actually think Google may need to diversify their power base so they can actually see where they are going.
They are way too young and new to get into this, I predict they'll step on some big and well worn corporate shoes soon and get a great big smack.
Radio
The ultimate Wifi
What's next?
An AdWords channel on XM and SIRIUS with someone reading 3 line ads all day?
What's next? An AdWords
Nice. Damn nice.
huh - strange...
well - my first thought was that GOOG did - opposed to myself - think that podcasting was really really going to be huge and they wanted to use the dmarc technology to get into the podcasting adsense business.
but as SEW pointed out it looks much more like they want to distribute advertisement across all media. so google goes to online/print/radio/tv ad distribution...
