Google's Matt Cutts has a BigDaddy

Matt Cutts posted a Q and A about a new Google data center he calls BigDaddy. Google is looking for search quality feedback on 66.249.93.104.

The update is intended to fix some canonicalization issues and generally be related to infrastructure more than relevancy. It is only live at 66.249.93.104 and 64.233.179.104 right now, but Matt said he expects it to be live everywhere in the next month or two.

There are a couple threads on it at

Is the new index better than the current one?
