Google Bundles Toolbar with Hardware
How important is toolbar bundling? Google not only makes a big deal out of doing it on the web, but now they are also doing it offline.
Lexar Media Inc. on Tuesday said it is adding Google applications, including a toolbar and search function, to its USB flash drives.
Financial terms of the deal with Internet search giant Google Inc. were not disclosed.
How much hardware will search sponsor? Will it move into other fields? Imagine the day you buy a candy bar sponsored by a free Google toolbar. Blah.

With M$ *forcing* users to a "every screen search" on Vista/Longhorn trying to increase market share and make users forget GooG - It's only sanctioned to urge search by any means available - OS, Browser, Office, Taskbar, IM, usb, dll, registry...
Soon a deal with OEM's to bundle toolbar?
Expect a deal with OEM's like Dell/HP to bundle the google toolbar with new PC's/Laptops !

For now Dell is still going with MyWay. I am wondering how they can compete with Google or Yahoo! on margins?
