Nick W on the Evolving Web

As part of our return to personal blogs at Threadwatch I wanted to start a column on an area that facinates me. Several areas actually, that could loosely be termed under the "evolving web".

  1. Communities
  2. Communication
  3. Architecture of participation
  4. Web 2.0

and a bunch of other such "blogpuppy'esque" topics. My aim is to take a no nonsense, common sense approach to some of what's happening around us on the web as it evolves without the often sickening "rah rah rah" that accompanies such topics.

We hear a lot of excited squeals, but what can we get out of all this? That's what i'd like to expore here.

The url for this blog is: http://www.threadwatch.org/blogs/nick
and the feed is at: http://www.threadwatch.org/blogs/nick/feed

Im hoping to publish maybe once or twice a week, maybe a little more often if time allows, and there's interesting things to talk about :)
