Ivana Passed her Driving Test!

A happy day in the W household. On the fourth attempt, Ivana finally passed her driving test - so we're out shopping for a car tomorrow!
Funny though, i made her a cup of tea this morning and put 6 drops of some "calming down" stuff we give to the wild cats to try and tame them a bit in. After she'd drunk it, she told me she'd already had 4 drops hehe...
Not sure if that had any effect, but regardless - the quality of life out here in the country is about to go up significantly!

Thanks, guys, I'm so happy, it's not been fun (or cheap for that matter) failing 3 times. Passing the driving test was better than passing the finals at uni. Finally! We're getting he car today, can't wait!

Bought the car this morning
Bought the car this morning - a red one!
citroen xaara estate (very sensible) - went out for a long test drive and it's perfect for us :)
We pick it up tomorrow, then the first trip is out to the beach with the girls...
there must be a great public trans system there..
I can't imagine how a family would get along without an automobile. Public trans is still in it's infancy here in Texas, although with all the congestian and expensive gasoline, I expect it to build up nicely. Sadly, the taxi unions banded together to upheave a monorail/ train system to the airport, so your only option is to get a taxi, have a friend pick you up, or rent a car.

The Xsara's are lovely and spacious family cars - we were looking at getting one at first, but eventually went for something with a couple of extra seats in the boot for visitors.
Sure robyn will enjoy the views. :)
