SEO Black Hat has an article here about ArticleBot sending back a bit more data than it should be doing. The blog originally publishing the information went from this blackhat seo cache to a current amended state
So according to the scandal blog:

As you can see, Article Bot has been receiving a copy your templates and keywords from every project you've created. This has been going on at least from build 1114, and most likely the full life of the software. Article Bot is getting a copy of everything you do.
The same story is also covered over at BlogHerald who think "Ironically enough, the very people who steal content from blogs are angry that one of their tools may be seemingly stealing stuff from them"
The screengrab from a packet capture clearly shows data being sent back. Here's some final food for thought, FTP authentication is sent in plain text so let's hope those passwords are uniquely generated per unique account name.

Trojan Issues Official Answer...
...When Andy gets back from vacation, he will look at this. I have no way to reach him. This will have to wait for further investigation until he returns.
In the meantime, I hope that those of you who are "spreading" (no pun intended) the rumor that there are viruses or whatever attached to Article Bot will choose your words and comments wisely....
