You have probably noticed that after a major news story breaks, (example London bomb attacks and Asian tsunami) the cry goes out on the web for photographs. The BBC is running a story considering the moral and other issues involved.
You have probably noticed that after a major news story breaks, (example London bomb attacks and Asian tsunami) the cry goes out on the web for photographs. The BBC is running a story considering the moral and other issues involved.
"The real issue here is an ethical issue if a bomb goes off and someone stops and takes a picture instead of helping," Mr MacRae told the BBC News website.
"At one level, I think people will probably try to hoax us, but we have to use common sense there. People may quite possibly stage events which we have to be wary of," he said.

There's even a website you can register with that you can send your snaps into. They act as a middle man and try and sell you photos to newspapers etc.
