Google retaliates by suing Microsoft
Story Text:

Roll up, roll up! Get yer popcorn! The Microsoft vs Google Catfight enters its 2nd round as GOOG retaliates with a cheeky left hook by suing Microsoft right back, alledging intimidation...

In the red corner, we have MS wearing the red trunks and skull and crossbones headband and a battle scarred expression. In the blue corner, we have Google wearing blue shorts and resting nonchalently on a beanniehopper - I've no idea if the referee will allow that lollipop and micky mouse mask but the Googlers are coming out fighting like it or not.

Remember kids, no biting, scratching, blows below the belt, or crying when the referee makes his decision...

I feel a bit sorry for Yahoo

surely they can find someone to sue so they don't get left out?

"Please Miss"

"The bigger boys are picking on me"

Seriously?

Didn't Google and Lee violate a written contract? I don't get it - how do they have a leg to stand on here? Wouldn't it be more cost effective to just settle with MS, make the thing go away and hire Lee back in another 9 months?

Some people clearly prefer pride to pragmatism.

Nick's a HOOT!

I didn't even read the article yet. Just came over to yell at Nick for almost making me spew my coffee all over the monitor!!! I already wrote my Friday Funny marketing blog. Nick's little summary above is just too funnny to pass up. Need to go quote him - once again! He keeps ThreadWatching me and I keep 5 Starring
him. Me thinks we have a mutual admiration society going here.

When you look at things from the perspective of this article you can see how 9 months might be an eternity.

>mutual admiration

>mutual admiration society
