Oh joy, something else to worry about when building sites. Sony have announced the coming of a free patch to give the PSP web browsing capabilities. The patch will be released next week in Japan.

Sony officials Thursday said the company will release a software upgrade that will let the PlayStation Portable video game system surf the Web without a cumbersome software trick.
The free software patch will be available next week in Japan, said Ken Kutaragi, chief executive of Sony Corp.'s game unit.

Son of a....I just went out

Son of a....I just went out and bought Wipeout Pure before this last trip so I could do the web browsing. Oh well.

The PSP is freaking nirvana if you fly a lot. It's right up there with Tivo on the "How Did I Ever Live Without This?" list.

Wipeout

I assume wipeout pure is a version of the old PS game Wipeout? The one with teh cool tracks and hover cars?

I used to LOVE that game! :)

Yup!

That's the game...but the software engineers included a web browser into it for "updates". So, everyone uses that browser to hit up airport wifi hotspots and such while traveling.
