MP3 format is 10, how time flies! It seems a lifetime ago since I first heard of sharing digital music. Now with IPods everyone is doing it and there are many more formats, but MP3 is still the Daddy. Happy Birthday MP3!

MP3 is not free to use for many publishers and as far as I hear the owners of the format are clamping down.

OGG and AAC are alternative free to publish audio formats suitable for the web.
