Google Maps API, May Show Ads

Google have announced the release of a Maps API - Now we see why they were so keen to stop people simply scraping their maps.
An interesting point from a quick scan of the terms and conditions

1.5 Advertising. Google reserves the right to include advertising in the maps images provided to You through the Service at any time and without notice, and by agreeing to the Terms of Use, You agree to display those advertisements as provided to You through the Service without modification.

I didn't notice if there was a "query limit" and on the surface it would seem that you can simply "show a map" and not much more, but it could be handy for small sites wanting to show where they are, or any number of more exotic uses i guess..
