The "Meet the Google Engineers" at the recent webmasterworld show was definitely a reminder that their are people behind the faceless beast that plagues us all :) It was good to speak with them and realize that they have some amazing people working very hard for them to create a quality product. A very nice piece of writing by PatrickDeese.

Every once in a while, a Spamistanian cork would elude the automated inspection process, and sometimes a Podunkian cork would get crushed in the mass of gears and pulleys of their clockwork inspection system, never to be seen again.
