SEJ point to a Yahoo! feature i've never seen before: The Yahoo! Search Box, allthough the copyright on the pages says 2003, i've not heard of this before. If anyone has more details, do let me know....

You'd certainly think so wouldn't you? Weird that it's not so well known...
They have had previous
They have had previous search box versions for quite awhile, however I think this particular version of the search box is newer. I first learned about it from Jeremy Zawodny's blog about 9 mo's ago. It used to be very hard to find on the Yahoo site.
A long time...
I can find out how long if it's really important, but I suspect it's not...
