Bittorrent inventor, Bram Cohen has published his new search engine for torrent files. This comes sooner than expected and just a day after
EliteTorrents.org was shutdown by FBI.
This move of the Bittorrent network to a more organized structure may make it a lot harder to locate trackers providing copyright protected material and may help this network survive regardless of the recent shutdowns.

Hmmm, they seem to be having some opening day issues. I'm currently getting an HTTP 500 when I submit a search...
working fine for me, just waiting for the FBI to start knocking on my door :)
The Real Story
Who cares about searching torrents? That's not news - Bitoogle was the first torrent search engine. The news is that Ask Jeeves has partnered with BitTorrent to syndicate their Adwords feed next to pirated content.
