Having had a heavy day today, I was doing a little light reading and came across this on The Register. Happily the web is not all redirects and Bourbon.

Over-excited males flocking to see a controversial TV ad featuring highly-talented heiress Paris Hilton cavorting in a bikini atop a Bentley with a sponge, a hose and a Spicy BBQ Burger brought down the Carl's Jr. website specifically set up to promote the soft-core meatfest.
As the author points out, we apparently cannot get enough of Ms Hilton
Why on earth anyone would bother checking out Paris Hilton with her clothes on is anyone's guess, since practically every bloke on the planet has seen her going at it like a two-bit hussy in the highly-regarded "Paris Hilton gets naked then gets shagged senseless" internet skinflick.
Wonder what he is talking about :-)

I have a theory that if enough other people told you something was good or a girl was hot then by default many people would fall trap to thinking the item or person was good or hot - as is paris ;)
that is some desperate marketing right there. Would In N Out make a commercial like that?
Trying too hard
The ones that try too hard are never interesting to me. She tries way too hard. That commercial misses eroticism by a large margin and simply panders to visual stimulation. Misses the mark there because of the incongruity of the images. She's washing a car, herself and eating a burger. Past the finger-sucking oral fixation lies nothing but wondering what in the hell the ad is about.
Not to mention that she looks as if she'd never even order a burger like that, let alone eat one. Bah, what I do know though? The sexiest image I can conjure is a woman wearing one of my button-down shirts and nothing else while she's trying to figure out what boots go best with her jeans.
Very Sad
The truly sad thing about this is that Hardee's (same company, but the name they use on the East Coast) appears to have taken down the video for the Western Bacon Thickburger, which involved a model eating an enormous slab of cow while riding a mechanical bull.
And she was far more attractive than PH.

she IS odd looking, kind of alien like, and it's really too bad for her since aside from her fortune in the bank her looks are her bigest asset. and speaking of assets, where did her's go?

I don't see the attraction myself but the very fact that there's a thread here talking about her and other burger munching girlies (oh, I can't be bothered to rewrite that, take it whatever way you want) is a good indication that you all went and had a look and you care enough to discuss it :)
So frankly if someone would pay me a good few thousand $$ for playing with a hosepipe on top of a car for 60 seconds then I'd be doing it too and I wouldn't give a XXXX if people said I looked a bit like ET or the monster out of Alien - good luck to her :D
