Rival politicians in the UK are having fun and games with domain names. According to a local uk site, George Hollingbery, a conservative candidate in the general election, registered MarkOaten.co.uk to push his message forward. Mark Oaten, a lib dem, is not best pleased...
His official site is [url=http://www.markoaten.com/MarkOaten.com[/url] but Hollingbery has snaffled the .co.uk and is causing a bit of a ruckus in the process.

Furious Lib Dem Mark Oaten described Mr Hollingbery's actions as a "grave error of judgement".
But Mr Hollingbery said it was simply creative thinking and blamed Mr Oaten for failing to register his own name.

Ugh
One reason I hate elections/politicians in general, it's more about complaining about why the other side is worse, than why their own side is better. Negative marketing gets a negative reaction from me.
That aside, isn't he kind of cyber squatting? He has no real legitimate reason to have that domain, whereas the other guy, does. It's not a pardoy or anything, it's like one company buying up a competitors name.
Just makes me think even less of them to be honest.
How do you vote for an option, when all the options are crap?
