Twitter Introduces Related Headlines

Twitter is rolling out a new feature called "Related Headlines". This feature will show a related news story link from a page that embeds a tweet. That means if you embed a tweet in your news or blog entry, that tweet will then show up in that tweet's permalink page.

So now it's time to go out and start embedding popular tweets in related blog posts / news posts to get some extra traffic.

I wonder how the algo decides what link goes first.... questions for Russ Laraway of Twitter at Pubcon Vegas maybe? How are you going to use this feature? Like it? hate it? Let me know down below.

Can we opt out? :)

Can we opt out? :)

Hmmm

I have no idea. But it seems publishers have to opt-in to the program https://blog.twitter.com/2013/new-headlines-feature-offers-stories-behind-the-tweet
