Source Title:
it's just a little insignificant blog....
Story Text:

Despite having implemented "nofollow", some stupid spammers are hitting Jeeves with blog comments...

no one's really going to notice are they?

Surprisingly though, I can't find any of those sites when I look for them on Ask. :?

AJ has been having some of their internet properties abused in worse ways than blogspam. AJ may not like it, but the others (read - the ones who matter and actually deliver traffic) seem to.

I hate amateur spammers

someone needs to explain to them what a blacklist is

Not all server configs support the MT blacklist. And it seems just plain dumb that you need to re-config your server just because SixApart can't deal with basic security issues in their software.

Truly, Movable Type are the Microsoft of blogs.

I'm not talking about MT Blacklist

I am referring to a list of blogs that you should not spam. Every professional spammer I know maintains a blacklist in order to avoid upsetting the wrong people. For example you generally don't want to spam search engine blogs. They are going to maintain their blogs, delete your spam and probably also your site from their index.

,,or is it?

So, a good way to get the competition banned then.
