Code Validation of the Big boys

The way I understand it, they purposefully left it unvalidated to ensure it worked across the broadest range of browsers, in much the same was as Brett's WMW still uses font tags.

In time, I think they'll have to re-examine that notion, as more users go mobile with different (better?) render/interpret engines, and less use the more archaic browsers it must currently be said to be supporting.

It means I don't need to revisit my old sites and fix them. My lazy self would hate it if the search engines started forcing us to use better html.
