Sunday Silly - Dougie vs ALL of SEW

SEO Training.
Thread Title:
Rotating links....dontcha love them?
Thread Description:
I can't find anything even remotely likable about the guy that started this thread, glengara but maybe i just did: He does know how to cause trouble and on a slow Sunday night a little forum fighting is always fun :)
I've linked to page 3 of this thread as it's where all the fun is, and if SEW have any sense, where it'll most likely end heh..
ihelpyou, aka Doug Heil is up to his usual tricks, no surprise there. General statements on the subject of what Doug thinks Spam is (everything except what doug does apparently) in the white hat supremacists fashion, but things take a turn for the worst for young dougie boy when Gurtie delivers a swift kick in the nuts he'll find it hard to recover from:

As Doug points out, things move on, what SE's find acceptable changes, people who used to promote rotating links no longer do; the 'best' way to SEO evolves.

LoL! It's a shame doug has put the archive.org bot on robots.txt as that site used to bring up a cracking page from 1999 :)
Fun and games, almost makes me wanna go join the fun but after Gurtie hamstrung my good mate doug it'd just be too easy...

- Y! MyWeb

Is this just a grudge ...

... Or was there an SEO reason to 'watch' this thread?

I don't think anything Doug may have done in 1999 is particulary relevant, unless you think that tired old link is an intelligent way to argue?

All it's done is drive a useful thread off course. More Noise, Less Signal?

Mayhem

We've had a mayhem section since the very start of TW - it's always been there and on average, 1 or two threads are posted weekly...

Nothing new there, and i like a good brawl..

feel free not to read threads posted in that section of course..

glengara

heh, he is a trouble maker.God bless his soul.

BTW, I have seem some sites PR0'd on the co-op. I would only consider putting crap there for short term gains. If I think like that, I am sure a lot of others do too.

Yeah

We had a long discussion on that network a while back - quite illuminating, some of it.

A loose kinda consensus revolved around the idea of it not being something with a great deal of staying power given it's public exposure and popularity..

Shame..

actually it isn't Doug I want to kick

but unless he admits to SEO evolution instead of SE's being created on the 6th day (and on the 7th day we spammed them) I'm including him in on it.
