Click Fraud - again
Click fraud out from under the carpet...again.
Google claims a laughable 0.02 %, NO ONE believes that but if you're gonna tell a whopper, tell a big one. I don't think this will clean up until some RICO statutes get thrown around.

.02% ...that is why they banned my click fraud reporting tool?
That is the biggest load of BS ever... that is why they banned my click fraud reporting tool in Adwords when the thing started seeing click fraud in double digits.
Click Fraud
I have to guess that Click Fraud is going to vary from industry to industry.
Going out and measuring Click Fraud on a bunch of SEMPO websites compared to measuring on "one product" industries in very competitive fields is going to produce hugely varying numbers.
Although I firmly believe clickfraud is a problem, I think the measurement of it is only valid on a site by site basis. There's no way to determine an overall value or average.
Maybe Google's .02% estimate is accurate if the results are skewed to include the millions of mom and pop industries that no one cares about.
yup.... The more
yup....
The more niche/industries that have websites using PPC, the more apt you are to see click fraud. I think a valid overall PPC number would be hard or impossible to discover. Now by business niche would make much more sense.
I have played around in
I have played around in hundreds of industries in PPC, and I've never seen a click fraud rate below .02%. There is simply no way that is possible with the content network (and even search network) turned on. They either can't spot click fraud or are just lying.
