Google to bid against Murdoch's News Corp for the Wall Street Journal

No, as Danny pointed out yesterday that's based on a "single analyst speculating."

Don't think that's quite enough to make a big rumor.

They said "even Google may be interested" among others based on a TV reporter's opinion.

I posted about this in the other thread yesterday. It seems to be PURE speculation and Google seems to get lumped in with every possible acquisition now (makes the story sexier).
