Congratulations are in order for Rumbas, his firm Notabene, one of Denmarks largest SEO/M outfits have just been bought out by Danmark Online which according to the press release makes them the largest player in Denmark now.
I asked Rumbus if he'd fill in any pertinent details i'd missed in my quick summar :)

Nick, thanks for mentioning the merger/sale here :)
Basically we have sold 50% of the company and merged the other 50%. In essense this means that I/we'll very much still will be active in the new combined company. This is in deed an interesting situation, both in terms of being a lot more people and the day-to-day work with a bunch of clients.
Danmark Online has been doing SEM and doing it well. We have been doing SEO and some SEM stuff, so by combining the forces, we feel we have a strong product and a good position in the market.

We got a Danish business partner and the Danish results look pretty easy. You guys have got it easy compared to a UK/US SEO. Guess you will have some compeition from us too in the SERPS :) SGU

Maxd, I am not with Notabene but still from Denmark. What makes you think you can beat us here? We run many US/UK campaigns already and outrank most others even in very competitive industries! Don't you think we can defend this little spot too? :-)
