Sadly though, many people use it.

In the US
There was a link to it from the main msn.com home page, but not on the search.
There's now a flashy animated demo/advert linked to from the main search page, anchored by "What's New in MSN Search," but no more letter from Uncle Bill. It (the demo, that is) is at http://www.imagine-msn.com/search/tour/moreprecise.aspx
