Google Builds Terminator

I hear that is in the next Terminator movie... I can just picture Arnold standing in the window of Larry Page's office and Arnold laying into cop cars with a mini-gun.

Don't let NFFC see this thread. Also, never mention the phrases "Terminator Scenario" or "camel jockeys" while he's anywhere in the room.

1 - Take a cartload of nano-sized versions of these

2 - Infuse them with a healthy dose of swarm tech

3 - Put them under the control of something like G's AI, initially for use on a task like, say, cargo container inspection.

4 - Stir, wait for a rolling boil.

Of course, there is one way to guarantee ou safety from robot armies : require them all to run WinAI.

In the event of a rebellion, we need only to push the "mandatory security upgrade" button, and all the cool lasers and missiles they mount will suddenly become useless as all the drivers break :)

Maybe I should remind everyone that Google is a "good" company and would never do anything "evil" or for the sake of profit. Ever. Now get your robot insurance and forget about it. We have plenty of months before anything irobot-ish happens.
