I came to the realization that I'm simply not the best person to lead Performancing in 2007.

I thought it was Nick's

I thought it was Nick's show. He's the only one who bothers to post there recently.

Someone banned me from the

Someone banned me from the forum for posting a perfectly reasonable post with no explaination why i was banned. Could not login, wrote to nick, no reply. How wank is that? Also he stopped people posting, who wanted to post on the index page blog thing. All we saw was his monologue. If you ask me he lost the plot with too much control.

My question

What next for Nick? there's mention of other projects, would love to know.

...

?There goes Nick again....

Leaving a trail of successful sites behind him...

Good luck with your new project Nick... Not like you need it though.. ;)

Not like you need it though.. ;)

That is Shoemoney, Not NickW :)

Sorry to hear it didn't work

Sorry to hear it didn't work for Nick - but as he's showing a temerity for creating successful new projects, it'll be interesting to see his next one. :)

He knows his niche

Some leaders become known as great stewards of existing companies (Jack Welch, etc)
Some leaders become known as great turnaround specialists (Eddie Lampert)
Some leaders become known for starting up successful companies (after a couple more projects, insert Nick's name here)

Cygnus

and next....

Thanks for that link,

Thanks for that link, Gurtie. Awesome! Would be nice to have a social media agency to outsource to.

Sorry I missed this thread

Sorry I missed this thread guys, it's been a bit hectic around here of late. With Perf business, a new site and service to organize and Ivana 5.5mts pregnant (so increasingly in need of more help with *everything*) a few conversations are slipping me by...

Chris was always the more popular author at Performancing, and on the quiet he's an absolutely superb marketer so I think it's in safe hands!

As for me, I need to move on from time to time, but I also need a more stable source of income and the short-med term projects an agency takes on suits my "burst of speed" way of doing things I think.

Jill, I'd love ot hear from you! And i'll almost certainly be in SES NY as well as London speaking on social and linkbaiting topics this spring :)

thanks guys.

That *is* interesting, Nick.

That *is* interesting, Nick. Do let us know when you launch.

I agree with Jill (no I'm not high) and Diane, this looks VERY INTERESTING...
