XXX Domain TLD Making A Comeback

The funniest part of this proposal is that no one supports it. Anti-porn groups don't want it, and the porn industry doesn't want it either. Seems the only people that want it are the ones who are planning to charge $75 for the domain and put pressure on the government to make it mandatory for all adult domains.

So the first time this was suggested, wasn't it supposed to be in parallel with a .kids domain?

After posting this I saw that fark had a pretty good discussion about it; for the most part, they feel it is a dumb idea, but if it is absolutely dead-set on going forward, change the tld to something like .adu, which is more professional.

It really isn't an industry that I do much for in the way of SEO, but I am against legislating morality on any level. If the .xxx domains do become available, I plan to get a couple registered through Google if possible. I want them hosting my smut too.

Then shouldn't we have a .rel TLD for religous sites. I would argue that religion has caused more deaths in this country than porn could ever imagine.

From a legal, philosophical, and particularly a technical point of view, the .xxx, .sex, .adu concept is flawed and stupid.
