LOS ANGELES — A defunct online movie service has sued Apple Computer Inc., Google Inc. and Napster Inc. claiming patent infringement over the distribution of video over the Internet.

Is there a specific technology patent much like the patented MP3 format (vs free OGG format) that they're claiming? Or is this just a general "we proposed a patent that when people go online they can download incremental pieces of data and put it together on their local machine" there fore you own us money, patent.
Cause if it is the last type... Damn, knew I shouldn't have passed on the patent for the submit/post and preview button "technology" a few years ago. I could have been rich by now.
