Nick Wilson, founder of Threadwatch for the new guys, has a new blog and has started podcasting. Its at CommuniContent.com. Pretty good so far.. he told Rubel off, drops some F bombs, and in general covers all sorts of geekness and blogger stuff.

you can't, from what I can

you can't, from what I can tellhe doesn't have a seperate feed for the podcast yet,

All the posts from NickW

All the posts from NickW reminds me of when this site started. Took a while before other people started posting.

Honestly I just want to hear

Honestly I just want to hear what Nick has to say. I take back what I said about him not having a feed for the podcasts. His normal feed has the links to the mp3 files.

*laugh* I love listening to

*laugh* I love listening to Nick. Especially when he rants.

Yeah there is something

Yeah there is something about english and naturally swearing. It just sounds right! I love the emphasis.

Nice going Nick!

Pretty good.

Pretty good.

I think if Nick had someone to bounce off, a Stephen Merchant to his Ricky Gervais it could be exceptional.

I laughed out loud when I

I laughed out loud when I heard Nick comment on the name "Search Engine Land" for Danny's new site. Good to know I am not the only one that thinks thats a stinker of a name.

1 more time

Another SEO blog. *yawn*

It's not an 'SEO Blog'. And

It's not an 'SEO Blog'. And Nick is funny to listen to I think it's pretty good.

I really enjoyed it. Love

I really enjoyed it. Love the language; having heard him, I finally "get" Nick <added> in a way I hadn't before.

who has time?

I tried, I really did. I barely had patience for the intro piece, C'mon, c'mon, c'mon.... I guess I read/scan information a LOT faster than it is spoken.

I thoroughly enjoy radio, especially story telling. Can't stand some of these podcasts, though. Go figure.

Yeah I was thinking the same

Yeah I was thinking the same thing.. I have an MP3 player now so I can get it when I want it but.... they really take a lot of time. I save podcast subscriptions for people I really respect.

Something new...

...for Aaron and Dave to buy when Nick gets bored with it [ducks]

Nick is quite good on these

Nick is quite good on these podcasts. I'm working my way through the beta's and he has a very smooth style and sitting there talking to yourself is not an easy thing to do. Its fun to hear that Nick talks like he writes when he's not doing the corporate thing at Performancing.

I agree. Nick's quite

I agree. Nick's quite soft-spoken, and it's amusing to hear him express strong views and language in a direct and quiet way. Gives one a real "take" on where Nick is at.

I was thinking the same thing. I can't imagine being able to do that. I think I would feel really weird or dumb sitting there talking to myself. He definitely handles it well if you like those kinds of things. I rarely listen or watch anything online but did give a quick listen to half of his sitemap podcast. Personally, I'd rather read, but I can see if you're at the gym or something and want something to listen to, these things might come in handy.

I think Nick has a comment

I think Nick has a comment worthy and interesting perspective on many issues. He is far better at the community building stuff than I could ever hope to be. He is a straight shooter. And he uses more F bombs than me, so that is a plus :)

Thanks for noticing guys.

Thanks for noticing guys. And thanks for the comments, it's very encouraging :)

I can't say that I have any particular agenda with the site, but I'm having a lot of fun doing it and it's more fun knowing a few friends are tuning in...

Hey Nick - good work. Only

Hey Nick - good work. Only problem I had was the sound levels.

I had the speakers up really loud so I could hear your dulcet tones as you spoke softly about the death of web 2.0 (probably as you didn't want to wake up the dead) - but then the next podcast - Flock off - started with really loud music that nearly blew me out of my chair at the same volume level....
